The Neighborhood's major landmarks include the Oury Park Cultural Center and the Davis Bilingual Magnet School. Homes in the Neighborhood are as varied as the families who have lived in Barrio Anita over the decades. Visitors will see adobe, plaster and masonry walls, gabled roofs, covered entry porches, and decorative gates. An extensive mural is painted along the walls bordering the edge of Oury Park and a major highway.
