SOZA FAMILY NEWSLETTER March 5, 1975
Re: Dedication Ceremony at Casa del Gobernador / Reunion Dinner
We are extremely excited about the two biggest events in the lives
of our numerous families, to take place at Tucson, Arizona on Wednesday,
April 9, 1975.
First, the public dedication of the "Jose Maria Sosa Room"
at the John Charles Fremont House / Casa del Gobernador at 10 AM.
There is no charge, so bring the entire family. We are anxious to
have all our several branches of the family represented. We are
particularly anxious to introduce all the senior members mentioned
in my earlier letter.
Secondly, the Soza Bicentennial Reunion Dinner, to take place at
the beautiful and new Braniff Place Hotel, which we will also use
as our headquarters. Cocktails at 6 PM with a No Host Bar. Dinner
will be served at 7 PM, at a cost of $7.50 per person.
If possible, we will try to arrange a bus tour of historic Tucson,
pointing out the original town site, old presidio site, and a tour
of historic San Xavier Mission; all important in the life of our
family's early arrival.
So that we may make full and proper arrangements for your attendance
and complete our program, we need your reservations at your very
earliest convenience. Preferably, we would appreciate your reservations
by next week. If you can not attend the dinner, please attend the
dedication ceremony, as we would like to make your acquaintance,
and introduce you.
Please detach the lower the lower part of this letter, make the
proper entries, and send it at once to the noted address:
