Inspired to learn more about the family.
1970 John Charles Fremont House Museum, Tucson. Sought to have
it named in honor of Jose Maria Sosa 111.
1972 Dedication of the John Charles Fremont / Casa del Gobernador.
Mrs. Richard M. Nixon was honored guest.
1973 Named to Tucson Heritage Foundation Board of Directors.
1975 John Charles Fremont House deeded to State of Arizona.
Soza Room at John Charles Fremont Museum dedication.
1975 Received Al Merito Award from the Arizona Historical Society
for service to the cause of Arizona history.
1975 First Soza Family Reunion - Tucson - 250 attended.

Raised funds to honor Alferez Jose Maria Sosa. Also honored were
Antonio Campa Soza, Maria Jesus Moreno de Soza, Antonio Moreno Soza,

Officer's honor; to encourage research of Arizona's Spanish, Mexican
