Gene Suarez was not a member of E-Company. He was a Marine from Tucson who was assigned as a photographer for Headquarters Marine Corps. His mission was to authenticate the movements of the Marines. Frequently, he would come into contact with his fellow Tucsonans in E-Company. This diary reflects what life was like for the Marines during the Korean War.
