Juana Matayaqui was a church kantoora, or lady singer. She was also known as Tu'isi yeyenan, or "one who used to smoke a lot." She lived with her husband, José Maria Puchiyename, below, on Calle Matus in Pascua.

| José Maria Puchiyename was the husband of Juana Matayaqui (above). The name Puchiyename means "one who smokes and blows it out right away without inhaling into the lungs." He was a matachin laveleo, (a matachini violinist) and played for the matachini dancers.
