I would like to thank several people who helped the compiling and editing of my father's memoirs. Bernard L. Fontana, known as Bunny to his friends and associates, was an invaluable advisor and aide in the process of producing the manuscript for Borderman. A boon companion on numerous trips into Sonora, James M. Murphy was my and Bunny's guide to the site where my father was born. And finally, I want to thank Joe Wilder and his staff at the University of Arizona Southwest Center for their moral and monetary support for the publication of Borderman.
